Your ability to **learn** and **cast** Arcane spells is tied to **Intellect** and your **Arcane Arts rank**. ### Starting Spell Formulas When you first become a Mage, choose a number of Arcane spells equal to **⌊Intellect ÷ 2⌋ + 2**. ## Actions & Uses - **Read Magic** — You can read most arcane scripts.
