Most hail from ancient mountain halls or ruined strongholds, clinging to tradition and craft even as the world changes around them. Dwarves value endurance, honor, and ancestral memory—and they rarely forget a debt or a slight.

*Your dwarven blood is thick with grit and iron. You shrug off poisons, push through fatigue, and weather disease with a resilience few can match.*

* Fatigue (exhaustion, travel strain, magical effects of tiredness)
* Once per long rest, you may **reroll one failed die** on a Physical Resistance test involving any of the above conditions.

## Lore
Deep within the **Valsanty Mountains**, where the earth still whispers secrets of eons, the dwarves flourished. Their legendary city, **Valaher Thrum**—the *Iron Throne*—was a marvel of stonecraft and engineering, a testament to their devotion to **Durin the Forge Father**.
The Demon Wars brought tragedy. A great Demon Lord opened a Hellmouth beneath the Iron Throne, unleashing a horde that overwhelmed the mountain halls. To this day the beloved home of the dwarves remains sealed, a demon-haunted domain from which raids still descend upon the lowlands.
Isolation during past conflicts left many outsiders suspicious of dwarves, yet their honor and perseverance are unquestioned. To reclaim the Iron Throne is the heart of dwarven identity, inspiring the common oath:
