## Prologue
Zairani is born into Stahlia's most powerful family, raised in marble towers and gilded halls. From birth she was marked as special: chosen to inherit the influence and wealth of her people. Yet while others see only duty and privilege, she feels the weight of a cage made of gold and expectation.
Unlike other aristocrats, Zairani is bonded to [[Thalrex]], a guardian beast whose golden mane is said to carry the sun's blessing.
Rumours whisper that the guardians only choose those who carry fire in their hearts. A restless, untamed spirit. When she rides with Thalrex beyond the city walls, she feels truly alive: "running where the air burns sharp, drinking freedom like water."
She realises she does not crave crowns, alliances or jewels; but the truth of the world itself.
She wants to see every horizon of Siroccar. From the icy wastes of Frostfall, to the volcanic skies of Fyrin. Breaking the mould of her bloodline. Not to rule, but to wander, discover and protect.
The Aristocrats want her bound to politics, betrothal, and legacy. But Zairani wants freedom, her own story, her own name beyond her family crest. Her life becomes a quiet rebellion: sneaking out with Thalrex, learning from travellers and nomads, absorbing tales from far beyond Stahlia. She chooses adventure over tradition, even if it risks exile or rejection.
In time, her story begins to spread among the people: the girl with the wolf of sunlight, running where no noble dares to tread. Some call her reckless. Some call her cursed. But many whisper that she will change the shape of the Aristocrats themselves. For she does not chase power. She chases truth, freedom, and the fire of life that no crown can hold.
