Good intentions
Roman gets priest to spill beans about Charlie, he practiced with dark entities, considers himself to be expert. His old notes had a repeating name “Yeth”
Charlie is a local boy
Yeth- demon who is prone to making contracts, trickster entity. Promises a lot, doesn’t break them but is sneaky with his contracts
Reggie falls asleep in graveyard under sky.
Long rest
Going to the manor, go through small woods. Large 2 story, surrounded by iron fencing. Gate is closed, bell rung by Roman. Garden is very dead, front door slowly opens. Lady with crossbow. Not expecting us, Berry, servant. Timothy is home. Walks to front door, lots of locks, locked behind us. Main room, fireplace, above portrait, elderly man in military outfit with blonde hair woman beside. Stairs to the right.
400 years ago - painting
Richard Camell - original owner of Manor
Berry leads us upstairs, Mr Timothy’s room. Large 4 poster bed. Shelves for books and trinkets. Some portraits are missing and shelves are empty.
Old man in uniform, big moustache. Next to him, woman long hair, holding baby, Richard, his first baby
Berry leaves room
Timothy, around a week ago, a visitor came, asked for his baby. Things happening at night. Hired the priest.
Why did he want baby? no idea why
Why not other priest? He didn’t realise he was not a priest still
Visitor - very tall, dressed darkly
Attacks happen only at night, scratching and howling. Consistent timing
Supplies - behind manor
Half of money by end of the day
Relationship with town is complicated, crops not growing as well
Timothy - not religious
-Break-
Looking around rooms as leaving manor. No staff chambers occupied. Can’t see Berry’s room
Berry is busy, front door is now unlocked
Blonde woman in portrait, resembles Berry
Go around the house, barrels

Barrel 4 - sloshing, water
Detect magic - holy water
Senses are blinded by something inside the house.

Sun high in sky
I know salt has some anti-demonic
Cellar door lock isn’t locked.
Go down, rocky carved stairs
Leads to long room with lit candles
Lots of barrel with taps
Wine cellar
Candles are not long lit
Chant “berry” nothing appears but hear a bang coming from a barrels
Open tap - nothing coming out
Wear and tear on lid
Lid off - barrel is empty, looking in, the back is missing. Secret tunnel!
Dimly lit room, candles are newer. Crudely stone wall. Murals on wall, altar and tunnel other side are old and time worn - paint missing. A scene of a man who is reaching hand out, other side of mural is missing.
Altar - Fountain with large top. Bottom has shelf with knife and bottle of ink. Knife very clean
Big ol’ moustache in mural
Other tunnel slopes up
Roman goes up

Kitchen
Go back into house and go kitchen the normal way
Berry isn’t in the kitchen
Loud arguing upstairs - Tim and Berry
Berry said it was a bad idea to hire commoners
“He wouldn’t approve” - Father - Arthur
Berry storms out and talks to us, she says she’s 40-50yrs old
She has to ‘fulfil her end of the bargain”
We decide to eat at the manor and stay the night
The plan is for Reggie to turn into Timothy to talk to Berry
- Apologise
- Are you holding your end of the bargain?
Roman goes to cook so ‘Timothy’ can talk to Berry
Info:
- They are asking for Richard and will not stop
- Berry can’t leave
- She was going to steal the baby
- It’s the manor or Richard
*Roman makes an amazing stew*
Hear howling outside
Courtyard covered in fog
Dire wolves x 3
Roman throws stew on a wolf
--Combat—-
Dagger dual attack - 3hp
Thunder wave hit - 15hp
Reggie hit by wolves to 0HP!
Stabilised but not healed
When returning to the dining room, we find Timothy passed out after being hit with a tea tray.
Barbara says Berry stole the baby
In kitchen the corner door is open
Go into the same cellar room
Red candles, dark water - bad vibes
Berry is going to send the baby to Hels as part of the deal with Yeth
--See Contract—-
We say, well why not. So bye bye baby
We convince Barbara to set house alight, which breaks the contract sends her to the Hels too. Whoops
I hope Timothy wont be mad
