FERs are a subclass of [[FSR|FSRs]] which are explicitly linked to one or more [[GFF FAIR Interpretations|FAIR principles]]. FERs are essential to the operationalization of the FAIR principles. FERs can be available or yet to be developed. FER subtypes include:
