Spyros is a good friend of [Prince Ernst August of Hanover](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernst_August,_Prince_of_Hanover_(b._1954) "Ernst August, Prince of Hanover (b. 1954)"), and was best man at his wedding to [Princess Caroline of Monaco](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Caroline_of_Monaco "Princess Caroline of Monaco").
- Konstantin, or Constantine Niarchos (1962–1999); married firstly 1987 (divorced) Princess Alessandra Borghese, no issue; married secondly the Brazilian artist [Sylvia Martins](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylvia_Martins "Sylvia Martins"), no issue. He was the first [Greek](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greeks "Greeks") to scale [Mount Everest](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Everest "Mount Everest").
