# Important Election-Related Dates ### October 6, 2026: - Voter registration by mail and online closes.  If you don't want to rely on same-day registration, register by **October 6, 2026**. - Early in-person voting begins at Offices of the County Clerks. Voter registration is available at the Clerks' Offices. - County Clerks begin sending mailed ("absentee") ballot. ### October 17, 2026: Expanded early voting begins - In some expanded early voting locations, same day registration will be available. Contact the County Clerk to find out where. - Voter registration available at every County Clerk office. ### October 31, 2026: Early voting ends. ### November 3, 2026: General Election Day - Polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. - "Mailed ballots"(absentee ballots) due by 7 p.m. Individuals may either mail their completed ballots in before Election Day **OR** or on Election Day deliver their ballots in its official mailing envelope to any polling location in the county where the voter is registered to vote, before the polls close. - Same day registration is availably at every polling place. ### November 24, 2026: Certification of Election Results (Statewide)
