Please consider [[Please Offer Feedback|offering feedback]] or [[Volunteering]], perhaps becoming a board member, participating in future design charrettes, or helping with some aspect of the project such as creating documentation or writing code. FACstamp is short for a **Fair and Accurate Content Stamp**. The FACstamp project supports trustworthy, virtuous, human generated and consumed digital content. Here is the [[FACstamp Pitch|pitch]]: ![[FACstamp Pitch]] #### For more information and details on what FACstamp is, see: - [[What is FACstamp? - a slide presentation|A 'What is FACstamp?' slide presentation]] - [[FACstamp Introduction]] - [[FACstamp Deeper Dive]] ### Why FACstamp? With the accelerating use of the Internet and AI generated content, the ability to discern accurate information delivered with virtuous intention has become difficult, time consuming, and an increasingly insurmountable challenge. A trustworthy and functioning democracy requires the electorate to be accurately informed with effective discernment. It has become too easy and common to be bamboozled by fake content delivered with duplicitous intent. The electorate needs multiple sources of accurate and unbiased content delivered in virtuous and caring manner, supporting growth in discernment and altruistic care, regardless of the wisdom path of choice. FACstamp is a project aimed at addressing these basic difficulties. As such, a primary goal of FACstamp is to positively affect 1-10 million voters within one year of the general availability of a minimal viable product (MVP). By increasing the level of both [[04 What is virtue?|discernment]] and [[Kindness and Theft|kindness]] via the creation and consumption of digital Internet based content, a democracy is stabilized against misinformation, civic decay, and the loss of virtue in both the electorate and the elected. For more information and details on why a project like FACstamp is important, see: - [[Why FACstamp? - a slide presentation|Why FACstamp? - a slide presentation]] - [[Internet Problems and FACstamp Solutions]] - [[Budget Roadmap & Timeline]] ### What is the FACstamp Expressed Warranty of Fitness of Use? A key aspect of FACstamp concerns the [[Express Warranty of Fitness-For-Use]] that is managed by the various FACstamp license agreements. When digital content is stamped with a FACstamp by a licensed FACstamp Content Producer, consumers have access to the [[Express Warranty of Fitness-For-Use]]. As anonymous users they can participate in the warranty claims as observers. However, when they participate as a FACstamp Consumer, they themselves can file warranty claims against FACstamp'ed content. This FACstamp fitness-for-use, a.k.a. FACstamp merchantability, is defined by three primary requirements: - [[Requirement 0 - Authenticity]] - [[Requirement 1 - Historical Accuracy]] - [[Requirement 2 - Virtuous Delivery]] ### Also See - [[FACstamp Pitch]] - [[FACstamp Introduction]] - [[FACstamp Deeper Dive]] - [[Website Navigation]] for assistance with website organization and navigation
