Elspeth Chan (陳志芬) is an **Independent Movement Researcher and Dance Writer** who is passionate in the intricate relationship between **Arts & Well-being**. She is also the co-founder, editor and writer of [_Dive(rse) Dance_](https://www.dive-dance.com/), an intellectual online dance magazine.
A distinctively communicative and strongly detail-oriented human being with 10 years of experience in **Art Administration & Project Management**; equipped with excellent organizational skills & highly capable of multi-tasking in delivering art programs. Thriving as a project manager and producer, she's project-managed diverse projects ranging from corporate, educational and training, and outreach and community art initiatives. She took on a pivotal role in coordinating and researching the lecture series _3 Decades of Dance in Hong Kong_ for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, curated by Dr. Lo Wai-luk in 2019. Also, she served as the producer of _The Hollowed Man 2.0_ dance film commissioned by the Along the Edge Art Festival 2021.
Graduating with a degree in Cinema & TV from Hong Kong Baptist University, Elspeth pursued her passion for dance in the UK, earning a **Master's degree in Dance Research (distinction) and receiving the Valerie Briginshaw Prize 2024 for dance writing and academic excellence**.
Her works are featured in _dance journal/hk_ 《舞蹈手札》and _International Association of Theatre Critics (HK)_ (國際演藝評論家協會(香港)). She moderates public talks including _Butoh and the Locality of the Body - An Initial Exploration of Butoh in Hong Kong_ in 2023.
