Dispositionism is the theory that deeds result from the internal qualities of the doer. A person commits acts of evil because they are inherently evil, or performs good deeds because they are inherently good. Dispositionism provides binaries for directing behavior in social settings. It is generally a tool used by autocrats, religion, and businesses to encourage desirable conduct in their subjects, adherents, and employees. [[Belief in Belief|Belief in belief]] is a strong indicator or dispositionism at work. It tends to distort one's individual [[situational awareness]] from examining the ethical considerations of their behavior. Dispositionism has a certain amount of relevance from a genetic perspective. Gifts, talents, or other latent potentials such as [[intelligence]] or musical aptitude may be part of an individuals innate organization. How these are cultivated and directed is largely dependent on an individuals [[Situationism|situation]].
