↑ [[2024-03]] ← [[2024-W11]] ## Overview Busy this week moving into new house while balancing the spring rush to get things done. Overall feeling upbeat despite the stress involved with spending and time management. I do not feel overwhelmed. Closed my time at Park Dr with a Hermanos Gutierrez concert and some psychedelics, this may be influencing my mood as the week closes. Work theme for the week was database management in Vectorworks, a new skill-building by necessity endeavor, but one that has naturally progressed with my design acumen. Weather cold and dry, 30° F, at beginning of week becoming warmer into high 60s toward the end. Rain beginning Friday PM into Saturday morning. ## Projects #### Mayfield Dr. Client rebooted installation for this project after a delay due to health issues. Have ordered plants and set a date for install. About an hour to order most plants readily available. #### Nancy Ann Dr ##### 2024-03-18 Deadlined myself to have edits complete by Wednesday. Troubleshooting plant schedule so have turned toward familiarizing myself with worksheets. ##### 2024-03-19 Plugging through DB management and worksheet refinement. There is an issue with some plant images in landscape areas not displaying correctly. I have outsourced it to VW forum to see if any user help is available. But, the drawings are very close to finished for this phase. Next week will begin to develop the front steps a bit more with the measurements provided by client. I think will be fun. Getting frustrated with the amount of effort clients are requesting and time willing to be compensated for. Having trouble separating what time is mine to make an investment on a new workflow and what is the client's to respect the effort being made. ##### 2024-03-20 Struggled through worksheet woes and now reaching a point of understanding the basic workings. Helpful to have a project to help direct the types of questions I need to answer. #### Moving ##### 2024-03-19 Have begun to carry odds and ends that are awkward for boxes over to new house. Fridge arrives tomorrow and movers scheduled for Thursday. Hope to have apartment emptied by end of weekend. ##### 2024-03-21 Movers arrived 03-21 and got most of furniture. Only issue was bed frame to big to fit down stairs and needed to be disassembled. So we left it and I took it over in the truck. Reassembled and set up before sunset. Sass adapting to new space. Everything is a mess. Movers were super helpful. A great example of gray economics: I was quoted $1000 for five hours. Movers took three. I tipped them 10% of the quote, so they basically added an additional $10 to their hourly wage while I saved $400. I assume they went on to another job to put in a full day. #### Hermanos Gutierrez At Landmark Tavern, waiting for mushrooms to wear off. Set list was basically *El Bueno y El Malo*, but it’s less important than the experience of vastness amidst the crowd. Close your eyes and watch the colored Möbius strip twist among the stars. The music is in my beer can. Body grounded into the Earth while mind becomes annihilated. Everywhere is here. Divided by zero. Vibing is tuned into a vibration, but which frequency are you on?
