- The time of great tribulation or time of trouble for the saints
### Notes
Main elements in this timeline:
- Holy people powerless and trampled, or oppressed
- Gentiles have control of Jerusalem
- Two witnesses show up, prophesy, and plague the ones with the Mark and die at the end
- Beast rises a short time before, and during this timeline one of his horns that had been mortally wounded is healed, and is given authority for the entire timeline. He makes war with the saints and overcomes them
This is obviously the great time of trouble referenced in many places. The people of God are under duress from many directions. The two witnesses seem to keep the Dragon or Horn of the Beast in check, or at least restrained, from eliminating the people of God during this time. Very much a real, physical battle as well as a spiritual, or other dimensional battle. When this timeline ends, there is only a short period of several different events before Christ comes.
