Quantified self is the effort to create [[Digital Twins]] of a person, usually digitized via [[Wearables]].
This was a trend in the early 2000s and fueled the development of the early digital fitness trackers like Fitbit, Adidas MiCoach, Withings, as well as apps that would track other contexts like location (Foursquare).
## Metaverse Capture
Wearables can be used to capture a Digital Twin of a user for the [[Metaverse]]. This is essentially motion capturing, however attached to a specific [[Identity]], to be then contextualized in digital-physical environments.
