## Basics
- Build and upgrade barns/coops
- Feed and keep animals happy
- Participate in animal festivals (Cow Festival)
## Breeding
Breeding centers on Breeding Nuts, short heat windows, and trait rolls. Use these tables when planning multi-generation projects, then dive deeper via [[Animal Breeds]].
### Breeding Nuts & Genetics
#### How to Breed Animals
1. Feed a Breeding Nut to an animal to apply the "Seeking Love" heat status.
2. Let the animal find a compatible mate (both must be in heat to trigger mating).
3. Chickens lay a fertile egg immediately; other pregnancies last 3 in-game days.
4. Offspring gender has a flat 50/50 roll.
#### Compatible Breeding Pairs
| Female | Male | Offspring |
|---------|----------|---------------|
| Cow | Bull | Calf |
| Chicken | Rooster | Egg → Chick |
| Mare | Stallion | Colt or Filly |
| Slime | Slime | Baby Slime |
### Breeding Nuts

| Kiki Nut | 350g |
| Lusi Nut | 350g |
| Rahr Nut | 375g |
| Yumi Nut | 375g |
| Puta Nut | 400g |
| Tula Nut | 650g |
| Pira Nut | 750g |
| Mipta Nut | 850g |
| Gubu Nut | 900g |
| Dudu Nut | 1,000g|
| Pae Nut | 1,100g|
| Jub Nut | 1,200g|
| Lala Nut | 1,300g|
| Eho Nut | 1,500g|
### How Nut Genetics Work
Feeding a nut stores that nut's genetic influence until the next successful breeding. When the offspring is generated, the game checks both parents and applies nut traits before default inheritance.
#### Probability
- One parent fed a specific nut → 25% chance that nut's trait overrides inheritance.
- Both parents fed the same nut → 50% chance (best method for reliable targeting).
_Tip: Feed both parents the same nut to stack the odds before saving and reloading._
### Nut Effects by Animal Type
#### Cows & Bulls
Each nut maps to a specific calf head type unless noted.
| Nut | Head Type |
|-----------|-----------------------|
| Kiki Nut | Type 1 |
| Lusi Nut | Type 2 |
| Rahr Nut | Type 3 |
| Yumi Nut | Type 4 |
| Puta Nut | Type 5 |
| Tula Nut | Type 6 |
| Pira Nut | Type 7 |
| Mipta Nut | Type 8 |
| Gubu Nut | Type 9 |
| Dudu Nut | Random (Type 0-2) |
| Pae Nut | Random (Type 2-4) |
| Jub Nut | Random (Type 4-6) |
| Lala Nut | Random (Type 0-9) |
| Eho Nut | Randomizes body color |
#### Chickens & Roosters
Each nut targets a chicken type (visual variant).
| Nut | Chicken Type |
|-----------|-----------------------|
| Kiki Nut | Type 1 |
| Lusi Nut | Type 2 |
| Rahr Nut | Type 3 |
| Yumi Nut | Type 4 |
| Puta Nut | Type 5 |
| Tula Nut | Type 6 |
| Pira Nut | Type 7 |
| Mipta Nut | Type 8 |
| Gubu Nut | Type 9 |
| Dudu Nut | Type 10 |
| Pae Nut | Random (Type 0-5) |
| Jub Nut | Random (Type 5-10) |
| Lala Nut | Random (Type 0-10) |
| Eho Nut | Randomizes body color |
#### Horses (Mares & Stallions)
Nuts mirror cow head types but the Eho Nut also hits manes.
| Nut | Head Type |
|-----------|--------------------------------------|
| Kiki Nut | Type 1 |
| Lusi Nut | Type 2 |
| Rahr Nut | Type 3 |
| Yumi Nut | Type 4 |
| Puta Nut | Type 5 |
| Tula Nut | Type 6 |
| Pira Nut | Type 7 |
| Mipta Nut | Type 8 |
| Gubu Nut | Type 9 |
| Dudu Nut | Random (Type 0-2) |
| Pae Nut | Random (Type 2-4) |
| Jub Nut | Random (Type 4-6) |
| Lala Nut | Random (Type 0-9) |
| Eho Nut | Randomizes body color and mane color |
#### Slimes
Slimes follow the cow table (head type plus body pattern) and can use any nut.
### Special Nuts
#### Random Range Nuts
| Nut | Cows/Horses | Chickens |
|----------|-----------------|------------------|
| Dudu Nut | Random Type 0-2 | Type 10 |
| Pae Nut | Random Type 2-4 | Random Type 0-5 |
| Jub Nut | Random Type 4-6 | Random Type 5-10 |
| Lala Nut | Random Type 0-9 | Random Type 0-10 |
#### Eho Nut (Color Nut)
| Animal | Effect |
|-------------------|---------------------------------------|
| Cows/Bulls | Random body color |
| Chickens/Roosters | Random body color |
| Horses | Random body + random mane color |
| Slimes | Random body color |
### Natural Inheritance
When no nut effect triggers, offspring derive traits directly from their parents.
| Trait | Inheritance |
|----------------------|-----------------------------------|
| Head/Chicken Type | 50% from mother, 50% from father |
| Body Pattern | 50% from mother, 50% from father |
| Body Color | 33% mother, 33% father, 33% blend |
| Pattern Colors | 50% from one parent, 50% blend |
| Mane Color (Horses) | 50% from mother, 50% from father |
| Mouth Color (Horses) | 50% from mother, 50% from father |
### Color Mutations
Natural mutations introduce slow color drift even without nuts.
| Chance | Effect |
|-----------------------|------------------------------------|
| 10% per color channel | ±15% color shift (large mutation) |
| 25% per color channel | ±3% color shift (small mutation) |
### Breeding Tips
- Double up on the same nut for a 50% roll at the desired type.
- Random range nuts (Dudu, Pae, Jub, Lala) are great for collecting rare skins.
- Dudu Nut is the only guaranteed path to Chicken Type 10.
- Preserve colors by pairing similar parents; go wild by feeding both with Eho Nuts.
- Expect gradual color drift over generations thanks to mutation rolls.
