superior to the others in wisdom, cleverness and sagacity and he teaches the

Fig. 48: Nadele (24° Aries) - is especially well acquainted with medical
magnetism and reveals to the magician methods by which the most severe
diseases can be cured by magic or by any other means. Nadele is not only a
physician for the physical body of man, but can also teach the magician how
he can help himself or any other person in any respect and in any situation of
his life, by the help of the Akasha-principle. This head is very much loved in
the kingdom of gnomes and if a magician gets into contact with this kingdom
by Nadele's assistance, even kings of gnomes place themselves at the

We might otherwise name these Divinities (Beings of Light): Eheieh (I AM the ONE); Eloah; Shaddai El Chai; Adonai (ha Ophir) [recall that Uriel = 'God is our Light']
**Ophir** is a port or region mentioned in the Bible, famous for its [[Wealth|wealth]]. King Solomon is supposed to have received a cargo of gold, silver, sandalwood, precious stones, ivory, apes and peacocks from Ophir, every three years.
Biblical references
Ophir (in Genesis 10 the Table of Nations) is said to be the name of one of the sons of Joktan. The Books of Kings and Chronicles tell of a joint expedition to Ophir by King Solomon and the Tyrian king Hiram I from Eziongeber, a port on the Red Sea, that brought back large amounts of gold, precious stones and 'algum wood' and of a later failed expedition by king Jehoshaphat of Judah. The famous 'gold of Ophir' is referenced in several other books of the Hebrew Bible.
3 years = one great circle in each Aspect: (Mind, Soul, Body)
The place Ophir was that from which the Bible represents Solomon's fleet bringing gold, silver, thyine (probably santal) wood, precious stones, ivory, apes, and peacocks (1 Kings 9:26-28; 10:11, 22; 2 Chronicles 8:17-18; 9:10). Its location has been sought where the articles mentioned are native productions; still, while Ophir is repeatedly spoken of as a gold-producing region (Job 22:24;28:16; Psalm 44:10; Isaiah 13:12), it does not follow that the other articles came from there; whether they were natural products, or only bought and sold there, or even purchased by the merchantmen at intervening ports, cannot be gathered from the text, as it states merely that they were fetched to Asiongaber. The Bible does not give the geographical position of Ophir; it only says that the voyage out from Asiongaber and back lasted three years (1 Kings 10:22).
##### **[[The Fire Beings]]**
**1. The Beings of the Four Elements**
Fig. 1: <font color="#c00000">Pyrhum</font> - In the kingdom of the elements Pyrhum is a powerful spirit of
[[Fire|fire]] in the rank of a king or sovereign. A great number of fire-spirits are
subject to his power and are constantly at his disposal. He will reveal special
methods to the magician who rules him; methods by which the magician may
have striking successes with the help of the fire-element. Pyrhum may also
put spirits of the elements at the magician's disposal who, being in possession
of the same powers as he himself, are able to bring about the same effects as
he himself would do. From Pyrhum one can learn about everything that may
be achieved magically by the pure element of fire. Also in cases where
influences through the fire-element are involved, Pyrhum can bring about the
desired effect. Every magician getting into personal contact with this fire spirit
will be able to convince himself of his versatility. The sign of his seal must be
drawn in red colour on a piece of blotting paper at the time of his first
evocation. One may also use a small iron-plate instead of the blotting paper,
and engrave the sign of seal on it. A talisman produced in this manner must,
however, always have the shape of a pentagon. The latter statement goes for
all signs of seals for beings of the fire-principle.

He therefore is able to bring about the same effects as Pyrhum. The only
difference between the two lies in the fact that Aphtiph is not so active as
Pyrhum and therefore is easier to control. He has a greater affection for
human beings and can give the magician various magical information on the
fire-element; for instance, how, by help of the fire-element and various
effective rites excellent effects can be obtained and the like. Aphtiph will
initiate the magician, should he wish it, thoroughly into the magic of the fire
element, using special methods for this purpose. He is also quite willing to
offer the magician the services of the beings subject to his authority, and
confers the same powers that he himself possesses to them. The sign of his
seal must also be drawn in red color for the first evocation.
Fig. 3: <font color="#ffff00">Orudu</font> - is a much dreaded spirit of high rank in the realm of fire.
Employing his subjects he causes outbreaks of volcanoes either directly or
indirectly, and he instigates all matters that are connected with fierce and
great fires. The latter may not only be caused by him, but can also be
controlled and stilled by him. The magician with Orudu under his control and
as his friend can achieve great things with the help of the fire-element. Orudu,
too, like the other two spirits of the fire, may provide the magician with
subordinated fire-spirits, and many a magician has been able to achieve many
magical arts with the help of the fire element and assisted by the beings Orudu
placed at his disposal. The sign of Orudu's seal has to be drawn in yellow
color for his first evocation.

who has a special capability of causing heavy thunderstorms, preferably
cloudburst, by means of his subjects. Controlled by a magician, he instructs
him how to cause various types of thunderstorms with his servants and how
to stop them. Everything that may happen in a thunderstorm is effected by
Itumo. By his assistance and by the help of his servants I have often
successfully influenced thunderstorms.

Coroman controls the fire-element in the three kingdoms; the kingdoms of
men, animals and plants, and may have effects through them. He can offer

in any respect, regardless whether he operates ritually with the
subordinated spirits or whether he has his influence work by the magic of
sympathy. Coroman can introduce the magician to a great number of
practices; especially the curing of sick people who may be treated with the
fire-element.

rank and power than the beings of the fire element already mentioned. Just because of where dark blue lies on the MCI; or in a flame This fire-spirit shows the magician how he can be effective in the kingdom of the fire-element. He instructs him how to assert his magical authority there so that he has complete control over any being of the fire-element. Amtophul therefore is an excellent initiator into the so-called magic of the fire. The
magician is taught by him how to defend himself against the element of the
fire in order to become unassailable by fire, that is, invulnerable up to a
certain degree. Unassailable; invulnerable (to a certain degree) The magician is then afterwards able to take burning coals into his hands without suffering any harm.

MIRFAK: Perseus, the ancient hero who rescued Andromeda; bright Mirfak lovely stars at his side. Also called "Algenib," Arabic for "side" the name means "the elbow of the Pleiades”.
**Sirrah** (or Sirah), is the brightest star in the constellation of Andromeda. Located immediately northeast of the constellation of Pegasus, it is the northeastern star of the Great Square of Pegasus. As a connecting star to Pegasus, it is also known as δ Pegasi, though this name is no longer used. It is located 97 light-years from Earth. Although it appears to the naked eye as a single star, with overall apparent visual magnitude +2.06, it is actually a binary system composed of two stars in close orbit. The chemical composition of the brighter of the two stars is unusual as it is a mercury-manganese star whose atmosphere contains abnormally high levels of mercury, manganese, and other elements, including gallium and xenon. It is the brightest mercury-manganese star known.
The names Alpheratz and Sirrah both derive from the Arabic name, **سرة الفرس** surrat al-faras "the navel of the mare". (سرة alone is surra.) The word horse reflects the star's historical placement in Pegasus. Another term for this star used by medieval astronomers writing in Arabic was راس المراة المسلسلة rās al-mar'a al-musalsala "the head of the woman in chains", the chained woman here being Andromeda. Other Arabic names include al-kaff al-khaḍīband kaff al-naṣīr.
The Star: Sirrach (or Sirah) is the brightest star in the constellation of Andromeda and in near proximity to the constellation of Pegasus, as a connecting star (or bridge). The name actually means ‘navel of the mare’ referring to Pegasus, where the ancients first placed it, however Arabic astronomers placed it as ‘the head of the chained woman’ (referring to Andromeda).

**Mythological Background:**
Long ago in Ethiopia Andromeda has been the daughter of Cassiopeia and Cepheus. Unfortunately her mother was overbearing that she thought herself to be more beautiful than the daughters of Nereus, a god of the sea. So Cassiopeia was hit by the anger and the revenge of the god Poseidon. To punish the mother, Andromeda was chained to a rock of the coast as a sacrifice for a sea monster. Yet she escaped this fate for she was saved from death by Perseus. For rescuing her he demanded Andromeda as his wife (which the parents gladly accepted).
**Baten Kaitos**, (Whale’s Belly) is a quite yellow star in the Whale or Sea Monster.
In astrology it portended falls and blows.

Dragon of the Deep, sent by Poseidon to ravage the mythopoieic Kingdom of Ethiopia as punishment for Queen Cassiopeia’s vanity. Her daughter, Andromeda, was sacrificed to the Dragon by chaining her to a rock out in the Ocean. She was rescued by Perseus and they were subsequently wed.
Endowed with the ability to Command, especially in war, the Dragon enlists its sons in an onslaught of the Deep and butchery of its denizens, whom they ensnare with spacious magic wards, binding them and rendering the open sea save for navigation.
Influences: According to Ptolemy this constellation is like Saturn. It is said to cause laziness and idleness, but to confer an emotional and charitable nature, with the ability to command, especially in war. Makes one amiable, prudent, happy by sea and land, and helps to recover lost goods.

"As the last portion of the Fishes (Pisces) rises, appears the constellation of the Whale, pursuing Andromeda in heaven as on the sea. This monster enlists its sons those influenced astrologically by Cetus in an onslaught on the deep and a butchery of scaly creatures; theirs will be a passion for ensnaring the deep with nets spread wide and for straitening the sea with bonds; they will confine in spacious prisons seals which deem themselves as safe as in the open sea and shackle them fast in fetters; the unwary tunny they will draw along in a network of meshes.
THE KETOS AITHIOPIOS (or Ethiopian Cetus) was a sea-monster sent by [Poseidon](http://www.theoi.com/Olympios/Poseidon.html) to ravage the land of Aithiopia as punishment for Queen Kassiopeia's hubristic boast that her daughter Andromeda was more beautiful than the Nereides. To assuage the wrath of the sea-gods, the girl was chained to the rocks as a sacrificial offering and feast for the dragon. It was at this time that Perseus was flying back to Greece with the head of Medousa. He spied the girl, flew down, slew the monster and carried her off to be his bride. Some say the hero turned the monster to stone, a rock which ancient tourists were shown near the Lebanese town of Joppa.
The Sea-Monster, along with Perseus, Andromeda, and her parents King Kepheus and Queen Kassiopeia, were all placed amongst the stars of the sky as Constellatons.
