# The Standards Zettelkarsten Brief
# TL;DR
### We have a pretty phenomenal corpus of internal LAM knowledge, documented across [The Standards](https://coda.io/d/_dF4ZqAXypCS/An-Introduction_suaFf), [The Bible](https://coda.io/d/_ddXn5Ap0CAp/An-Introduction_suaFf), across our [LAM Coda], our [Figma] templates, throughout [Always Beta College]([https://loveandmoney.substack.com](https://loveandmoney.substack.com/)) or [Ask Me Something Stupid (AMSS)]([](https://askmesomethingstupid.gatsbyjs.io/)) and just kinda generally around the Internet.
And yet, internally and exeternally, people are still unsure about what we do, why we do it, and how we do it. Which leads us to think that we don't have a content problem, or a documentation problem. What we have, instead is a UX problem.
That's why we're looking to build a LAM Zettelkarsten for the Standards and beyond: to solve a fundamental UX problem. Rather than treating The Standards as a linear document, we want to create something more like a LAM Wiki: a collected, connected series of ideas, processes, platforms etc., that internal and external partners can access, search, query, and potentially submit additions to online.
We'll start by transposing [The Standards](https://coda.io/d/_dF4ZqAXypCS/An-Introduction_suaFf) into a format that makes sense for [Obsidian]([https://obsidian.md](https://obsidian.md/)). We'll then start adding elements as we need to from our other platforms. We should consider how this links to our internal docs like [[OKR]] templates and briefs, external docs like [[Couple Goals]] or [[Pinky Swears]]. We'll want to consider (from day 1) how we might integrate [[Open AI]]. And we should also think about how we can build in our [Ask Me Something Stupid (AMSS)]([](https://askmesomethingstupid.gatsbyjs.io/)) as a query/ticket/FAQ function.
And because Obsidian uses .md, our LAM Zettel should ultimately be looking to create a proprietary online platform (beyond Obsidian) as a place to share this content. That is to say, we should be designing and developing this in a novel way.
# Objective
Transpose [The Standards](https://coda.io/d/_dF4ZqAXypCS/An-Introduction_suaFf) into a Zettelkarsten format in Obsidian, using an elegant, intuitive and scalable structure.
### Elements to consider
- Folder structure
- Tag structure/approach
- Template types
- [Chat GPT](https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt/) integration
- [Ask Me Something Stupid (AMSS)]([](https://askmesomethingstupid.gatsbyjs.io/)) integration
- Formatting/designing content in line with LAM's DBP
- Development
# Deliverables
- Love + Money Obsidian Vault
- Folder setup
- Templates
- Documented tag structure
- All possible content from The Standards moved across to Obsidian in an appropriate format
- Internally linked in an intuitive way
- External links to all external docs
- How To/Intro to Obsidian documentation in whichever format that you think works best (eg. Obsidian, Slack, Coda, Loom). Consider not only onboarding our current employees, but any employees/partners or external collaborators in the future, too.
- Report on integration research
