## Concepts
1. Building Wealth comes from finding something you're uniquely good at, applying [[Leverage]], and taking credit. the best way to do this is to find something that looks like work to others, but feels like play to you.
2. Good judgement over time will build trust in the same way consistent savings over time accrue wealth: through [[Compound Interest]]. Better understand the world by learning the foundations, building mental models, looking for truth, questioning your biases, putting your opinions out into the world for criticism, and updating your priors based on feedback.
3. Happiness is a skill that can be trained. It's a habit that can be built over time. This comes from being careful of what you desire, because while your desire drives wealth and success, it comes at the cost of happiness. The best advice is learned from [[Stoicism]]: focus on your actions and reactions, and don't be attached to the things you can't control (i.e. everything else.)
4. You're the only person who's going to save you.
1. Commit to changing. Everything in the universe does
2. Build [[Atomic Habits]] that will bring you the health, knowledge and happiness you want
3. [[Hard Choices, Easy Life]]
4. Meditation has the power to grant you true freedom. This isn't just the power of "freedom to", but the greater power of "freedom from."
5. There is no meaning of life in any useful sense. Radical honesty and long-term thinking give you the best chance at forging wisdom. Everything is more beautiful befcause we are doomed. And inspiration fades, so act now.
## Quotes
