## New War - Gear Recommendations - Warframe/Weapon - Nothing really restrictive here though preferred to have something like the Xoris or Vectis that can deal high damage - Railjack - Any tier 3 hull is recommended for additional survivability but it is not required. - Operator Amp - You will get a new Amp during this quest. If you are still using the Mote Amp be sure to switch when you can. - Necramech - It's more trouble than it's worth to get Necramech mods so going with nothing is fine the Necramech section is quite short. Just be sure to equip the Mausolon that came with your Necramech. ### Kahl-175 - Playing as Kahl uses mostly the same controls as your Warframe with new abilities and noticeably slower movement - You'll want to mostly weaken enemies and use finishers to kill the Sentients that have it available - Be sure not to miss the turret(pictured below) in the middle section as it is intended to be a turret section and will be much harder on foot - Stealth section doesn't have punishments for sprinting through it and the allowed space is much wider than you might think so going wide around everything is an option - The final section you do need to kill all the enemies and perform a finisher on the final Sentient ### Veso - Veso Robots General Tips - You should try to always have each of your bots active. If your ability icon is glowing you currently have one of that bot to command. - Breacher Moa - Use your 1st ability to summon Breacher Moa from their stations - Shoot them to make them detonate - Used for puzzle solving normally blowing up debris - Using your 1 while you have a Moa will command them to move to a location or hack consoles - Shield Drone - Use your 2nd ability to summon them from their unique stations - Will follow you by default but can be commanded to defend specific units or move to locations with your 2 once summoned - Striker Moa - Use your 3rd ability to summon them from their unique stations - Follows by default but can be told to attack specific enemies or stand certain places with your 3 - Once you have access to them you should use them to destroy turrets moving forward - The puzzle everyone gets stuck on - For the puzzle pictured below you need to send your Shield Drone inside the room then summon a Breacher Moa from the station inside the room to hack the terminal - IMAGE HERE - Veso Jackal Fight - General Tip - Make the right side of this arena your home as all 3 stations are easily accessed from there - Step one: Damage one of Jackals legs with either your Striker Moa or Plinx - Step two: Jackal will fly up and spin dealing damage with his walls so duck behind something and command your Striker Moa to break his shields - Step three: When he hits the ground stunned send in your Breacher Moa to stand underneath him then shoot him to take out a health segment - Second segment additional step: You'll need to command the Shield Drone to protect the Breacher Moa on its way to kill Jackal or it will die to the electric damage Jackal is standing in after phase 1. ### Railjack - This section will be one of two things, extremely easy and short because you have a somewhat invested Railjack or kind of a slog with default gear. Thankfully if your Railjack is destroyed you just fade to black for a second and the mission continues until completion of this section. ### Teshin - Teshin has a unique melee system allowing him to switch between Heat, Electric, and Cold damage types. Enemies will also have an corresponding color aura that determines what you'll need to switch to to damage them. - Movement as Teshin is also unique, your primary fire with throw the Orvius which is not only an attack but a mobile grapple point you can use with your alternate fire button. - Rooms requiring you to hit moving sentient triggers in order to open doors will be much easier if you just throw the Orvius at them instead of trying to melee them. - Typholysts - These enemies will change element as you fight them so make sure to switch with them. - Be sure to run away from them when they spin ### Narmer - New Abilities - Heal - Use this to heal yourself and clear status effecting you - Smoke Screen - Effectively invisibility in an area use this when you need to sneak up on someone or need a break mid-combat - Sonar - Marks enemies nearby when you use it - New Weapon - Sirocco - This is a pistol that uses what is known as an active reload system you're probably familiar with if you did [[Duviri Paradox]]. By hitting reload again as the reload passes the marked section you'll reload fast and your first shot will be significantly empowered. - Neutralize Outpost - Side objectives: Freeing the Ostrons doesn't award any bonus but they are displayed on the minimap - Bypass nodes: Pictured below you'll need to hack 3 of these to proceed past the second zone - IMAGE HERE - Archon Encounter - Be sure to use smokescreen to give yourself space if needed during this first real fight. - Fortuna - In the stealth section here your 3 will mark the deacons so you can check for them through walls. - Infiltrating the Factory - Once past the simple K-drive section and after getting your mask you'll head inside and be presented with two directions for two stealth sections. - The Right Side - This section has a Deacon going up and down the stairs. Wait under the stairs for him to come down and turn away then sprint/roll up the steps to reach the console. Afterwards, head back down to the other side. - The Left Side - On this side head around the far side avoiding the patrolling Deacon and go up the elevator. Once topside there will be a flickering yellow-orange light (pictured below) marking a pipe you'll need to sneak across the top of to reach the objective. - IMAGE HERE - After this is a straightforward section of just escaping - Enemy of my Enemies - Proceed through this mission toward the objective. You will see Stalker killing various enemies but he won't try to hurt you. - Nataruk - This weapon is immensely powerful and will make short work of the enemies on your way out. It has a "perfect shot" mechanic that is just before a fully charged shot you should get used to and the damage increase is very worthwhile - The Wild Hunt - You can go after any of the Archons here but minor spoilers this guide is going to cover only Amar & Boreal because you'll only be fighting two of them. - Archon Amar Mission, Mars - Amar Fight Guide - Use perfect Nataruk shots on Amar as much as possible to take him down quickly - Mechanics - When he becomes invincible and summons enemies you need to kill them to make him vulnerable - When he clones himself you can use the Sonar ability to mark the real him on the map. He can also be recognized as the one holding his weapons - His charged attacks are telegraphed by a bright light be sure to roll away from them and remember your roll makes you immune to knockdowns and gives 75% damage reduction - Use your 1 if you are lit on fire to cleanse the status - Archon Boreal Mission, Earth - Use perfect Nataruk shots on Boreal as much as possible to take him down quickly - Mechanics - Boreal has a tri-beam that will inflict a large amount of damage if you're caught in the middle be sure to dodge even if it means going through one of the outer beams. - Boreal will slam into the ground and send an electric wave towards you that will linger. Be sure to purge the electric status if you are hit. - When he screams to spawn his orb use your smokescreen on the edge to be able to walk inside and shoot him. - Finally he can become invincible and spawn enemies just like Amar. Kill them to proceed. - The Choice - It is extremely worth considering that at the big choice in this quest the left option will have access to the Sirocco and the right will not so if you only have the Mote Amp and haven't finished [[Getting a Better Amp]] the choice is pretty easy. - Cetus - Saving the Ostron villagers - It is recommended to Void Sling above the village when traveling around to avoid the patrols only dipping down to free the Ostrons. - Freeing the additional Ostrons does not give any rewards - Take the balloon up to the Unum Tower - This uses Archwing style controls so jump is ascend - Reactivate the Crystals - Use your Operator to turn the crystals on as you proceed through the tower - Sentient Ship - Make your way through the Sentient ship. - Unfortunately if your only good weapon was a melee weapon it will be replaced with the Paracesis here but it should suffice if you have nothing else. - Beam battle with Lotus - This is a tiny tutorial section for a mechanic that will come up again soon. Redirect her beam to kill the other sentients. - Railjack - This section is similar to the first at the beginning. Just kill some ships and proceed forward. - The second section has you hiding from the sun. Solar waves will bombard you on approach so move to each large piece of debris and wait for an opportunity to move forward. - There is a scripted event where you'll need to repair the ship so take out the Omni from your Gear Wheel so you can repair the hull - Necramech - Follow Erra to your objective. As long as you use your Necramech's 2 when you can you should be fine. - Final Archon Showdown - The Archon you did not kill will appear here and try to stop you - Destroy each Orphix Generator by killing the 3 enemies keeping the shield up then just blast it with your Amp to take it down. - After this you'll be allowed to use your Warframe to kill the final Archon. - Even if your weapons suck the Paracesis you have can make relatively short work of the final Archon. - Ballas Showdown - Mechanics Breakdown - First phase is the return of redirecting beams with the Lotus aim the beams at the large kuva mirrors in the background to destroy them. Kill the Deacons between mirrors. - Second phase will begin with Ballas firing a beam at you. Bait the beam into the mirrors on the opposite side of the arena and he'll begin firing at the Lotus at which point you can damage him with your Amp. - In between mirror breaks and after he has lost a chunk of health will be a "dialogue phase" where you run from a beam while story happens. - Quest Rewards - Nataruk - This is an exceptionally powerful bow that likely will be the best primary in your arsenal when you acquire it. - Rumblejack - Better than it looks this weapon can actually be used for a slam attack build that is very effective for players that don't yet have access to the Arca Titron. - Sirocco - Now usable on your Operator post-quest and a huge upgrade if you were stuck with the Mote Amp. - New Feature - You can now also switch to using the Drifter instead of the Operator in Operator customization.
