# What is a Kuva Lich? Kuva Lich are higher level adversaries that will require you to not only do specific missions to hunt them but also need specific mods called Requiem mods you'll have to farm in order to defeat them. > [!Consequences when ignored] > You can only have one of either a Kuva Lich or Sister of Parvos and your current Lich must be defeated to generate another adversary > > Lich will steal small amounts of resources from you at the end of missions and will occasionally hit something you care about. This is mitigated by you getting 100% of stolen items back upon defeating them. > > They can be annoying with constant dialogue. # How to get a Kuva Lich ^d9bda5 **Requires completion of the The War Within Quest to start.** **Requires a [[Railjack]] & Intrinsics level 5 in order to defeat unless you have a friend bring you to the final showdown.** Kuva Lich are created when while doing a Grineer mission at above level ~20 the lights in the mission will flash. When the lights flash if you kill ~10+ enemies in the next minute or so a Larvling will spawn alongside some dialogue from a Kuva Guardian. Using a Mercy finisher on the Larvling after downing them will create a Kuva Lich. - Cassini (Saturn) is the fastest mission for generating Lich but if you are having trouble Telesto (Saturn) is more consistent for some players. ### Kuva Lich Larvling - Kuva Lich Larvling are the decision point that allows you to manipulate what weapon and element you get from your Kuva Lich - Element Manipulation - Element is determined by the Warframe you use to Mercy the Larvling. See the [[Progenitor List]] for which element and Ephemera each frame gives and suggested elements for each Kuva & Tenet Weapon - Weapon Manipulation - There are 19 available weapons from Kuva Lich - When you down a Larvling after waiting a moment what weapon the Lich will have when generated will appear above them ![[KuvaLarvling.png]] - When you see a weapon and do not take it that weapon will be temporarily removed from the pool for future Larvling encounters. - E.g. if you see a Larvling with a Kuva Grattler and don't Mercy the Larvling you will not see the Grattler again until your pool resets. Meaning you are guaranteed to see the weapon you desire in a maximum of 19 Larvling encounters. - You must complete the mission the Larvling was generated in to remove a weapon from the pool. - Pool resets occur when you defeat a Kuva Lich or when you have exhausted all options in the weapon pool. # How to defeat a Kuva Lich In order to defeat a Kuva Lich you need Requiem mods ## How to get Requiem Mods ![[Warframe0199.jpg]] - To get Requiem Mods you'll need Requiem Relics - Requiem Relics come from Kuva Siphon/Flood missions - Kuva Siphons/Floods can be found in the Alerts menu at navigation and rotate regularly - 50% Drop Rate from regular Kuva Siphons - 100% Drop Rate from Kuva Floods - Once you have Requiem Relics open them for a chance at Requiem Mods - Requiem Fissures(Found in the Fissure menu at navigation) are run like normal fissures but are only on the Kuva Fortress and you may only open Requiem Relics ## Hunting a Kuva Lich - All Lich will start on Earth when they are generated denoted by a red blobby mist covering the planet ![[Warframe0192.jpg]] - In order to begin hunting a Lich choose a node on the currently occupied planet that is a "Controlled Territory" ![[Warframe0194.jpg]] - Controlled Territory - These missions will spawn Thralls who will be marked on spawn - Using Mercy finishers on Thralls will give you progress towards uncovering one of the Kuva Liches required Requiem mods - Each Controlled Territory mission you complete will build up "anger" from the Lich giving them a greater chance to appear in a Controlled Territory - When your Lich appears you'll have to down them and attempt to finish them off by using Requiem mods installed in your Parazon. This process is described in [[Requiem Mod Usage]]. - When you attempt and fail to finish off your Lich with the Parazon they will move to the next territory and level up with a max level of 5 - The region inhabitance pattern is always Earth, Mars, Ceres, Sedna, & Kuva Fortress ## Final Showdown - After correctly figuring out or guessing the correct [Requiem Sequence](Requiem%20Mod%20Usage.md) your Lich will flee to the Saturn Proxima for the final showdown. - It is advised to do this in a group even if you are a fully geared veteran player because it's just faster that way. - If you wish to do it solo there is a solo guide below - You'll want a moderately invested Railjack ideally with Tier 3 parts - This shouldn't be difficult considering the mission requires at least Intrinsic 5 - Two Solo guides are available below one at minimum investment and the other at maximum ## Solo Guides ### Poverty Investment Solo Gear Video Guide & Builds Below [![Watch the video](https://img.youtube.com/vi/e1XyuqsZUcU/maxresdefault.jpg)](https://www.youtube.com/watch/e1XyuqsZUcU) - Vectis ![[Warframe0202.jpg]] - Redeemer ![[Warframe0204.jpg]] - Nezha ![[Warframe0205.jpg]] - Atomos(One Forma & Optional) ![[Warframe0203.jpg]] ### Ideal Solo Gear - You'll want to use the most up to date [[Banshee]] build - In addition you'll want to use the strategies at the end of the below video which work for both Lich & Sisters [![Watch the video](https://img.youtube.com/vi/GEyKmEnsuRg/maxresdefault.jpg)](https://www.youtube.com/watch/GEyKmEnsuRg)
