| ![[Henry Pink Guy Trimmed.png]] | The [[Take Cake to the Children]] killer who attacked Henry's daughter and drove off. While an outsider to [[Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place]], he was an insider to Phone Guy's [[FNAF 2\|New and Improved Freddy's]] who watched from the far side of Pirate's Cove as [[Foxy Go Go\|Foxy entered the MCI room]]. |

## Coined by Ryan and Other Ryan of 8BitGaming
I was first alerted to the sprite difference between William and The Pink Guy in their video ["Whatever Happened To The "Pink" Guy?"](<https://youtu.be/7928duEQGpA>)
## The Perfect Opposite of William in Save Them
Once pointed out, the difference between this sprite and William's in [[Save Them]] is stark:
The Pink Guy isn't just a slightly different shade from William, every physical attribute is reversed!
| [![[Pink Guy and Purple Guy.png\|200]]](<Pink Guy and Purple Guy.png>) | Fat vs Thin. <br>Straight vs Bent. <br>No Neck vs Giraffe.<br>Square vs Round.<br>Black eyes vs White eyes.<br><br><br>These two sprites were painstakingly designed by Scott to be the opposite of each other. |

## The Purple Guy from Save Them is William
[[The Silver Eyes]] doubles down on "Dave"/William looking like the Save Them sprite, going so far as to say he seems to slide sideways in the same weird way The Purple Guy does.
[![[Silver Eyes - Dave is Purple Guy from FNAF 2.png|250]]](<Silver Eyes - Dave is Purple Guy from FNAF 2.png>)
## William wouldn't attack his own restaurant
William owned the original small, square [[Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place]] where [[Take Cake to the Children]] happened.
The [[Special Delivery Faz Facts]] say William created the robots, and Henry had to buy a franchise license from William in order to open Fredbear's with Freddy's characters.
The fallout from Take Cake turned the 1972 place into the [Struggling Freddy's](<552 Struggling Restaurant poster.png>) that later went bankrupt.
Take Cake to the Children was a disaster for William, forcing him to eventually sell out to Henry's company Fazbear Entertainment, who paid all the bills from then on.
## The Pink Guy uses the opposite of William's style.
William's [Modus Operandi](<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modus_operandi>) as a killer is well known: he lures people into back rooms and quietly stuffs them into robots.
Killers tend to have a particular style compelled by the obsessions that drive them, which police use to narrow down suspects.
If William truly wanted to kill Charlie, inviting her inside would be a no-brainer, he could have done the deed quietly in the secret room every Freddy's has, without tying her disappearance to his place.
Instead, The Pink Guy attacked Charlie on the sidewalk outside William's place, then gunned his engines and drove off with his tires screeching... making enough noise to make certain the crime was discovered promptly, and would stain the reputation of the pizzeria forever.
The only person who ultimately benefited from the tragedy was Henry.
## Pink Guy watched William enter the MCI room.
The [5 child poster](<551 5-child poster Expanded.jpg>) states the person wearing the Luring Animatronic was the one convicted of [[The MCI]].
William was the person convicted: When he returned 4 years later in the second opening of FNAF 2, he had to hack the facial recognition systems because this time his face was in the police database.
But this means William had to be the one wearing the suit at the MCI.
All the kids were there to see FOXY in [[Foxy Go Go]], so regardless of who actually carried out the attack, that was the luring suit in question.
So William had to be wearing Foxy that day, when Foxy stumbled into a room with 5 dead kids inside.
While The Pink Guy [watched him enter](<Foxy Go Go Foxy looks at Pink Guy.jpg>) from the far side of Pirate's Cove.
This means the Pink Guy wasn't William.
## "The Puppet Carver" callback.
The Fazbear Fright story [[The Puppet Carver]] tells the story of [Purple-faced Jack](<The Puppet Carver - Jacks face is purple.png>), the owner of a small struggling family pizzeria that isn't associated with any sort of chain.
His surly nature is self-defeating, making the pizza place gloomy and unfun for kids and employees alike.
But when he falls into the Puppet-Carving Machine -- and it somehow doesn't seem to hurt him -- he suddenly, magically becomes a 100% positive person!
However, something is hunting him, an amorphous blob of goo that was [pink four times over](<The Puppet Carver - Fazgoo is Pink Four Times Over.png>) who took the form of a ==dark-eyed pink humanoid== after it [caught him](<The Puppet Carver - Pink Faz Goo attacks Jack.png>).
It then reveals the horrible truth: That it's made from ==his own negativity== that was cut away by the Puppet Carving Machine.
The Pink Fazgoo is essentially the Mr. Hyde to his Dr. Jekyll.
The Fazgoo then leaves, and is later seen working for Henry's company Fazbear Entertainment as the active ingredient in all their Mad Science kits, which steal the souls of an entire classroom of science students in [[He Told Me Everything]].
# The Pink Guy is "The Anti-William"
The setup for The Puppet Carver mirrors the setup for [[Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place]] perfectly.
Then suggests The Pink Guy is the Antithesis of the person who owns that pizzeria.
Which would explain why The Pink Guy is the [opposite of William in every possible way](<Purple Guy and Pink Guy Perfect Opposites.png>).
It's not incorrect to say The Pink Guy is William, but it's the negative side of William instead of the whole of his being, so this statement is too broad and incomplete.
