But finally, FINALLY we have Metroid Prime 4! AND IT LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN PRIME REMASTERED like I'm genuinely surprised that it looks so good. And I'm crazy excited. I didn't believe. I didn't *want* to believe. I didn't get my hopes up at all, I honestly thought that Prime 4 could have released *only* on switch and still done really well. But I'm pretty happy with the approach Nintendo has taken with differentiating the Switch 2 edition games. This is tracks with their history, this is very similar to Twilight Princess (GC + Wii) and Breath of the wild (Wii U + Switch), with their cross platform releases. I think the strategy will work, depending on their goals. I don't necessarily know if someone who was already planning on getting Prime 4 on the Switch, but is *now* planning on getting a Switch 2 just to play the Switch 2 version, I'm not sure it alone is worth getting a new $500 console to play. I'm really curious what the sales by platform is going to be.
