# Shorthand
Add water, fish sauce, garlic halves, honey and black pepper. Bring to a boil and then add meat (protein) and potatoes. Add in a pinch of salt and rice wine vinegar.
Put on a lid and simmer on low for 1-2 hours.
Add in cardamom pods, soy sauce, and bay leaves.
Let simmer for another hour2
Add in thinly sliced cabbage, turn up heat, put on lid and boil for 5-10 minutes. Serve.
Garnish with parsley and drizzle with honey.
