## New Content and Features
- New Skills
- New Chisel Types that gives more Currency, Div Cards, Item Rarity, Pack Size, Scarabs
- Stacked Deck Currency Stash Spot
## Melee Improvements
Melee Totem Skills have been Removed
- Most melee skills have been significantly buffed to compensate
Banners Reworked
- Banners are now free of mana costs but no longer provide a permanent buff
- Now must generate Valour stacks through melee combat to use
Rage Reworked
- Rage no longer gives multiple bonuses, it gives only 1% more Attack damage per Rage, with a maximum of 30
- Most sources of rage now provide additional rage on hit and do not have separate cooldowns, there is now a global cooldown of 0.5 seconds
Tinctures Return
- Now are a melee only mechanic (unless you are using the keystone from the new Warden Ascendancy)
- 1 Tincture Max
- They have a stacking mana cost that when you are unable to pay it, disables them, giving them a global cooldown of 8 seconds
Retaliation Skills
- Replaces counterattacks
- All require you to get hit or block a hit in some way, then allowing the ability to be used for a short time
## Endgame Improvements
- 6th Map Device Slot added, 5th and 6th Slots are obtained from 10-Way Maven Invitation and clearing a T17 Map (1 slot for each)
- Affliction is back as a random encounter in maps, no NPC are present
- Nameless Seer is now lurking in random maps, he has the same inventory of random Uniques but also has the ability to Scry a map, swapping the Divination Cards that drop from that map with another on your Atlas
- Divination Cards are now shown on the Map when you hover over it
- King in the Mists is back as an itemized boss fight, drops a renamed Perandus Pact (TWWT is gone)
- Kalandra Mechanic has been turned into Reflective Mist, which is either a random Ring/Amulet with enhanced or inverted mods, or an item that does the same
- Sentinels are randomly in maps but are freed and only work for that map
- Extra League Mechanics can now drop Maps. Scarabs, Chisels and Horizon Orbs now have the same drop rules as Maps
- Many Scarabs have been reworked and their limits adjusted, ctrl-f for ones that matter for your farming strategy
- T17 Map difficulty has been massively nerfed, they can also be modified with Chisels and Vaals as well as Chaos now
- T17 Map mods have been rebalanced in both difficulty and reward, some mods have been removed or replaced
- Valdo's now drop significantly more frequently but their item drops have been rebalanced, economy should be similar to before
## League Improvements
Delirium
- Simulacrum is now only 15 Waves and Uniques drop more frequently
Ritual
- Special Spectre Corpses are now a new reward from Ritual, they have been rebalanced
- Some ritual bases have been changed, highest tier Ritual bases are only in ilvl83 or higher maps
## Atlas Changes
- Back to Basics has been removed
- Many specific notables have been significantly changed, check these for your specific Atlas Strategy
## Monster Rarity and Quantity
- All monsters should drop loot now, even if they didn't before (Ultimatum)
- Some changes have been made to Quantity and Rarity on certain league mechanics to prevent extreme cases at the very high end from getting out of control (hundreds of thousands of uniques dropping in one map)
## Player Quantity
- Have been completely removed from all items and most of the time either replaced with rarity or other small stats
- Notably Ventor's Gamble has -15 to +15 Mana Res Efficiency
## Player Balance
- Corpse based damage mechanics have been nerfed across the board, chance to have higher level corpses spawn, the level of the corpses, and much more has been nerfed. Look for a content creator who is experienced in corpse mechanics to give you more information about this if you're interested, but tl;dr rip DD
- Endurance Charges give additional Elemental Damage Reduction instead of Resist
- Skills that use the basic melee strike animation now act more consistently (this is WAY bigger than you think)
## Skill Gem Changes
- There is too much here to reliably go over so I will talk about the most impactful ones as well as the ones that particularly affect my builds and meta builds
- Divine Blessing Support is gone, it is only obtainable through March of the Legion
- Many hybrid Melee/Range abilities have had their weapon requirements split between base and tgem
- Many skills that were popular for leveling have had their added damage effectiveness significantly reduced at level 1 ramping to no change at level 20
- Berserk now only provides increased Rage Effect, nothing else
- Boneshatter has received buffs that are seemingly smaller than the rest of the melee skills, wait for someone to do math but it looks like potentially a wash, Complex Trauma now has a limit as well
- Call to Arms is now Autoexertion and will have a reservation of 15% per warcry, but can use multiple warcries. This is a buff for builds that want warcrys for exerted attacks, and a nerf for generic warcry use. Notably almost all warcries have has their effects changed
- Determination and Grace have had their added armor/evasion reduced by half (this is compensated on gear)
- Dual Strike of Ambidexterity has received buffs that are seemingly smaller than the rest of the melee skills, wait for someone to do math but it looks like potentially a wash
- Elemental hit is now melee only, of the Spectrum is now ranged only and was buffed
- Flesh and Stone no longer has its previous effects and simply cause enemies to take more physical damage when in range and deal less damage while in range
- Hatred has been heavily nerfed, no longer provides any more cold damage and now gives slightly higher gained phys as cold
- Herald of Ash no longer provides Spell Fire Damage
- Kinetic Blast has been massively buffed and now has more base attack speed and scales spell damage at 200% value
- Kinetic Bolt of Fragmentation has had its effectiveness of base and added damage increased
- Lightning Arrow no longer has added damage but now has higher effectiveness, this is probably a nerf early and a buff late
- Vortex has had its damage effectiveness massively nerfed, this is probably meant as a nerf to ignite Vortex
## Support Gem Balance
- Chance to Bleed can now support minions
- Increased Duration is now More Duration
- Inspiration is now less Mana Cost instead of reduced, this is most likely a nerf
## Ascendancy Changes
Berserker
- Most Rage effects have been reworked alongside the Rage rework
- War Bringer now provides double the amount of Exerted Attacks
Chieftain
- New Passive Sione, Sun's Roar provides Warcries with Infinite Power
Juggernaut
- Unbreakable now provides Armour applies to Chaos Damage instead of Elemental
Champion
- +15 Fortify, no longer provides Stun Immune or Attack Speed/Arm/Ev
Gladiator
- Reworked into a Dual Wield friendly ascendancy that provides new unique buffs
- Now can cause Aggravated Bleeds which count as the enemy moving
Deadeye
- Now has a Frenzy Charge Stacking node
- Tailwind Effect reduced by 5% per stack
- Far Shot now is up to 30% more damage, no reduction at close range
Warden
- Replaced Raider
- Tincture and Elemental Ailment Based Ascendancy
- Has Barkskin from Wildwood
## Passive Skill Tree Changes
- Vaal Pact has been changed to Life Leech from Melee Damage is Instant and Cannot Recover Life other than from Leech. Be aware that this heavily affects builds that use items with Vaal Pact like PhD shield
- Versatile Combatant has been heavily buffed and is only -10% max block/spell block now
- Warlord's Call is once again Call to Arms and now makes your warcries only affect allies and have 100% more Duration
- Perfect Agony now causes your DoT Multi to be equal to your Crit Multi, this is probably a buff for Assassin?
- Tons of other smaller changes, check for specifics on your build
## Unique Item Changes
- Adorned is now 0-100%, this is a MASSIVE nerf to both availability and power
- Dancing Dervish can now weapon swap
- Defiance of Destiny got a sizeable nerf and no longer works with PhD shield
## Item Changes
- Item quality has been reworked, most items only are able to be forced up to 20% quality now, and quality from items is based around the ilvl of the item having quality applied to it
- Most Armour/Evasion/Energy Shield types have additional more powerful bases and have had their stats improved in various ways, this accounts for the aura nerfs
- The vast majority of sources of Phys taken as Elemental or Chaos have been removed, very few remain
- Many weapon bases have had their Attack Speed and Crit Chance buffed
## Monster Balance
- Essences now take less damage instead of having more life
- Bosses can now have up to 50% Action Speed reduction, this is a buff to freeze
- Targeted by a Meteor mod now has a cooldown and is better telegraphed
## Quest Reward Changes
- Alira now grants 15% All Ele Res
- Kraityn now grants 8% inc Movement Speed
- Oak now grants +40 Max Life
- Eramir now grants 1 Passive Skill point
- Additional Skill point available on the quest Through Sacred Ground
## User Interface Changes
- Act and Pinnacle Bosses have Static Life Bars
- Reservation effects now persist through death
- Range of picking up items have been increased
