Aside from [[Warrior People|occasional wars]] and conquests, the places in this world are quiet and communal. People are simple, wearing simple clothes and carrying little more than what is necessary for their vocation. Yet the violence caused by monsters contrasts with a society that largely lives off the land. Children who grew up in Heorot would have real monsters to fear at night. ## Heorot [[Heorot]], the great hall of the Danes, has [[Heorot as Place|multiple functions]], making its siege devastating. - It is a mead hall, a gathering place for feasts and drinking - It is the seat of rule of Hrothgar, meaning he meets his subjects and takes guests there (like Beowulf) - It is used as lodging Heorot is a building [[Heorot Rebuilding|rebuilt]] for two scales. For Heorot to function during its regular nocturnal occupation, it needed to be rebuilt numerous times. In the 12 years of attacks, it has been modified to better fit its giant occupant. ### Model [![[Heorot V1 Rhino Render 1.jpg]] ![[Heorot V1 Rhino Render 2.jpg]]](Digital%20Model) ### Renders [![[Heorot V1.1 Unreal Render 4.png]] ![[Heorot V1.1 Unreal Render 3.png]] ![[Heorot V1.1 Unreal Render 2.png]] ![[Heorot V1.1 Unreal Render 1.png]]](Digital%20Model%20Renders)
