# Eladrin Long ago, before the founding of [[The Kingdom of Odessa]] or [[Celestia]] and for reasons unknown many elves left the [[Material Plane]] and migrated to the [[Feywild]]. As elves are prone to do - these elves changed. However, they were altered so much by the land of the Fey that they aren't even called elves anymore - they are called Eladrin. Eladrin are descended from the Elves, and so they carry many traits of the that heritage. They still have almond-shaped eyes and long pointed ears, though the primal magic of the [[Feywild]] has changed eyes wider, ears longer, and facial structure more sharp. Their skin colors tend toward more extremes but due to a lack of [[Arcane Spires]] in the [[Feywild]] it's rare to see Eladrin with the exotic skin colors. Their hair on the other hand is universally the color of flowers. ## Traits **Age**: Eladrin children mature at the same rate as human children, but tend to live a little past 150 years of age. Significantly longer than their Elven ancestors. **Height**: Men are generally between 5 1/2 and 6 feet, while women are typically 1/2 a foot shorter. **Weight**: While similar in height to humans, they are more slender. Women are 80 to 100, and men are 90 to 110. ## Culture
