# The Primal Age (before time)
The world is made of various primordial forces that coalesce to create existence in the world as we know it.
# The Divine Age (5895 years)
Gods rule dthe world during this time, and created the first people: the elves. A mostly peaceful time until nearly its end when the gods began the war. As they warred amongst each other, they created many monsters that still plague the world today. They also created new races for their wars, dwarves, halflings, etc.
# The Relic Age (1492 years)
- The gods began creating sacred relics for protection and war, and the fighting over them ultimately leading to their downfall. Some of these relics still exist today.
- The remaining gods made a truce, at least most of them, and created a relic of transcendence. They all departed to their own new planes of existence, or became ethereal forces of the present world.
# The prophet Age (2376 years)
- The founding of the first demihuman settlement and city, Wolvesby, happens in the year 935 of this age. Populated mostly by halflings.
- Aegeremont is founded in the year 1157 and is mostly elves.
- Galadhor is founded in the year 1201 and is mostly dwarves.
- Dragons, remnants of the works of previous gods, become prevalent in the world.
- Monsters are abundant and unchecked by the gods who created them and run rampant through the world.
- prohpecies are toldby sages and oracles, children of the gods gifted with the vision, which appear in abudnance in the ages to come.
- Wizards and other magic gifted spawn of gods appear in the era.
# Age of Savagery (576 years)
- Driven by a prophecy that Aegeremont and Wolvesby would join forces and cause their destruction, Galadhor attacks Wolvesby and destroys it.
- As this increases tensions, war breaks out between Aegermont and Galadhor, the latter the victor.
- The refugees of the battles and wars end up founding a new home, Cainsfield, with their combined populaces.
- Cainsfield takes revenge, defeating Galadhor, forcing many dwarven clans underground, some of which remain there generations later to this day.
# Age of Demise (968 years)
- Illness and plague force the disillusion of Cainsfield, the worlds populace now scattered to small territories, as wizards take power.
- Two very powerful wizards in particular gain prominence, Vidrael Silentfall, and Gallerion Magestorm, both elves.
- Eventually they recruit other magic users in to their ranks, and a war between the two breaks loose.
- This is also the first appearance of the Elwind, a primordial force cursing and blessing those who it touches with magical properties of a variety of sorts, causing cataclysmic magical events, and awakening great slumbering evils.
- A doomsday cult forms in the wake of the Elwind, believing it will one day end the world.
# Age of Ruins (340 years)
- Between the wizarding wars and the Elwind, the world is left in ruins. People are scattered, struggling to rebuild and defend themselves from the world's monstrous inhabitants.
- A community called Stonehill is formed, but quickly falls to ruin due to its capitalistic governing body.
# Covert Age (447 years)
- Not much is known about the covert age, except that there were several secret sects who fought in a silent war. Some of these sects still exist today.
# Age of Abundance (1389 years)
- Tharnham is founded in the year 157
- Whitich is founded in the year 208.
- Charvaly is founded in the year 221.
- Karthmre is founded in the year 248.
- Scarwood is founded in the year 263.
- The world begins to heal from past ages, and true civilizationis born. An era of prosperity and abundance commences at this time.

# Age of Might (595 years)
- Organized mosnters attack Tharnham, in the wake of its narrow victory it was named "Hawthorne" after the hero of their victory, who died shortly after of his wounds.
- Whitich attacked Charvaly, destroying it.
- Karthmere, who is in an alliance with Charvalay, destroy Whitich as revenge.
- The modern day Capitol of Ingora Vallis is founded.
# The Age of Divination (462 years)
- Oracles and sages become treated as sacred, sometimes even worshiped as gods themselves in this era.
- Se'fas is founded by one such oracle, on a search for the lost civilization of Stonehill, a dwarven stronghold underground from the age of ruins said to hold a godly relic.
- Scarwood sacks Se'fas, hearing rumor of the relic, but does not find it because Se'fas had never located it.
- Lyra is also founded by an oracle sage, in search of treasure and godly relics. The create the industries of mining in the nearby northern mountains in a vain search.
# Era of Mortality (2994 years)
- The Elwind reemerges, causing a planar shift and coliding two planes, causing the dissapearence of Scarwood, and the emergence of humanity from another world.
- Humanity, although fragile and mortal, reproduces quickly and integrates in to the social order.
- Ollen, Slint, and Baston are founded as result of humanities integration and subsequent population boom.

# The Holy Era (1554 years)
- Religion takes prescedense in the social order of Astoria. New city-states emerge as the result of the religious reformation, starting with Waerldon.
- Lyra, in a holy war, destroys Baston in the mountains.
- Bellton emerges as a new city-state.
- Arpton also emerges as a new city-state.
- Eventually religuos fervor dies down to a reasonable amount.

# Era of Exploration (633 years)
- Karthmere in the mountains dissapears mysteriously.
- Lyra gets in a trade war with Waerldon, ending in a war destroying the latter.
- Bellton attacks Arpton for political and financial gain, resulting in its mutual destruction as Ingora Vallis attack as revenge.
- Ingora Vallis becomes the central power in Astoria, being the largest and centrally located city-state and trade hub of rich resources that it is.
# The Age of Storms (47 years, ongoing)
- Our story begins in the age of storms when the Elwin return in the year 47...
