# MIDI Sequencer Megababy
Place it before your virtual instrument. Right-click to audition sounds. Hold cmd to adjust velocity of the note. Extend the length of a note by holding opt+drag. Cut the length of a note by shift+right-dragging the note. Double the pattern by shift+clicking the left side of the UI. Cmd+left-drag to draw in velocity. Create a new pattern by switching slots. Duplicate a pattern by cmd+left-dragging to the desired slot. Alternate patterns by using the keyboard range marked in red in the UI. Print the sequence to MIDI by dragging it from track FX to input FX and recording.[^1]
> Note that for some users, Megababy seems to have a -1 octave offset, which can be fixed by editing the JS code.[^1]
A quick method to create a WAV render of the pattern is to create a new MIDI item, then right-click it and select "Apply track/take FX to items as new take (MIDI output)."[^2]
