Cut the length of a note by shift+right-dragging the note. Double the pattern by shift+clicking the left side of the UI. Cmd+left-drag to draw in velocity. Create a new pattern by switching slots. Duplicate a pattern by cmd+left-dragging to the desired slot. Alternate patterns by using the keyboard range marked in red in the UI.
