# Editing video in Reaper
First, you've got to install VLC player.[^1]
Open the video window with cmd+shift+V. You can also right-click the window and choose Attach docker position to top.[^2]
Go to View > Big Clock. Right-click the clock and the ruler to change to Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Frames.[^2]
You can fade video files by adding the Video Processor plugin and instantiate the preset "Item fades affect video."[^2]
Reaper chooses to play the video with the higher number first, so track 2 will play instead of track 1 if you have video on both tracks.[^2]
Rotate a video in the "Source properties."[^3]
