# Kamire
A type of spice produced from a tea plant by the same name. It grows both agriculturally and in the wild on [[Mi'kan]]. It likes cold, high altitude climates of the (Mi'kan mountain) steppes.
It is sweet but with a natural heat to it that gives the feeling of warmth when consumed. It is used in all kinds of foods, baked goods, and drinks. Many find it's taste to be similar to "cinnamon" which was recorded to be a spice that grew natively on [[Annadine]]. None of such spice or the plant it came from was saved in [[The Great Shattering]] and so it was lost to time.
The most popular alcohol, [[Reshi A'kohl]] is made from fermented and distilled kamire.
