## What is exciting about it?
The funny thing is, that these things are NOT exciting - usually. That's the whole point. They're the chore-y things that you know are good for you and will help you in the long-run. But they're NOT FUN (Unless you bring your Dopamine tolerance down with a [[Dopamine Fast]] to the point where "boring" becomes "exciting" again.)
## What sucks about it?
These things take time. They're boring. They're tedious.
And you really have to cut out most [[Low-Value High-Dopamine Activities]] from your day. Because once you've gotten a satisfying hit from, say, browsing Reddit or checking Instagram, READING or HAVING A DIFFICULT CONVERSATION will absolutely, no question be the last thing you wanna do.
This is the opposite of [[Low-Value High-Dopamine Activities]].
