# Dopamine Fast Journal
- Week 1: Very good, not as hard as I thought. Sugar was the most difficult to stay clear from; practically and behaviorally
- Week 2: Still good.
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Wednesday - Relapse/Difficult today because I hadn't eaten much lately and got really hungry and stressed in the afternoon. Watched porn and in the evening I checked CNN and got lost on Reddit for an hour or so. That didn't feel great but it did trigger Dopamine hits because Reddit, especially the "News" section, is full of drama.
- Thursday – Feeling so-so today. Not sure if it's because of what happened yesterday or just in general. It's getting hot out. Breakfast [[Huel]] and [[Green Tea]]
- Friday – Weird experience: Ate croissant, kombucha and bread-pudding with [[What I love about F.K.]] at Brodstatte. Before I left I took 30mg Ritalin as usual. When I got on my bike and rode home, I felt really dizzy and started to sweat. Very uncomfortable and I had to push my bike up the hill. I believe it was the bread-pudding and the sugar in it but I'm not 100% sure. I think the Ritalin had not yet kicked in. And maybe the Kombucha was off - tasted good though... So I don't know what that was but I was glad when I got home. I was also, weirdly, intensely hungry when I got here for something with salt. So, yeah, that was weird and unusual. Now, 2 hours later, I'm feeling fine again. Very weird.
- Week 3
- This week was a little all over the place and I had a few slip-ups.
- On Tuesday I was pretty beat from renovating the apartment BUT I wound up reading/skimming two books!
- On Wednesday afternoon, after the call with Isa I noticed that I was checking Reddit News, Instagram, Youtube. I was basically so done and drained emotionally that I needed to do something different. I'm not super unhappy about it but thinking about the situation, there are a ton of better things I could have done. Relax, [[Breathing]], go for a walk etc.
- Thursday felt great. I was very active and wrote probably 4,000 words late into the night. I also did a lot of small tweaks like to make my note-taking better.
- Week 4
- On and off, not really fully fasting. Ate a lot of sugar in various forms (müsli, cookies, coke zero) and browsed reddit news and instagram a few times.
