The rat-gasm button (phone, laptop) were the only things left in the apartment. Dopamine motivates you to do things. What makes you excited. Just like alcohol, tolerance builds. Same with dopamine. Rat/Dopamine/Button/Reward experiment. Brain doesn’t have context “Eat cake”, “Press button”. It’s very dangerous. Rat-gasm… stopped eating, stopped sleeping. I stopped doing all the things beneficial for me, working out, reading out, watching interviews, working hard… Rat wouldn’t cross electric mat if there was “just” Food. Rat would cross electric mat if the button was across from it even if it was shocked. Drugs, games are like crossing the electrical mat. The things that are beneficial for you don’t give you the dopamine compared to phone. Once I was living in a minimalistic house, all I was left with was the dopamine button (phone, laptop) I wasn’t motivated to read books, listen to interviews, work anymore. Dopamine receptors overblown needed severe stimulation but I didn’t know why. Watched the other video, and after a few days of removing dopamine distractions he was back to being excited working on business, reading, listening to interviews… > “I got back to a place where I get a HUGE HIGH working on my business. I’m so pumped, can’t wait to work on it.” Rig your brain to get high from productive work. #### How do you do this? 1. Take your phone, delete social media apps, or block sites FOREVER. Stop using your phone. Put it on airplane mode. It is designed to be your rat-gasm dopamine button. It’s just as bad as cigarettes. 2. Cut out and not even tolerate any dopamine hits. Instead of watching CEO interviews I was watching replays of games. TV. Video games. Youtube… 3. Hard Dopamine Fast over a weekend, light Food, good diet. Low-dopamine from diet. Look at everything that gives you a dopamine hit and get it out of my life. 4. No more porn. (Checklist) Here are the rules: * You’re not going to check your phone * You’re not going to check the news * … You’ll hate the first 2 days. About day 3 and 4 you’ll start enjoying meditating, working on your business… The brain will start finding Dopamine in those tasks. I’m fucking pumped to work. I’m fucking pumped to read.
