## Summary - ... ## Show - ... ## Questions - ... ## Related - ... Today we'll be doing two things. For one, let's make sure we're capturing anything you find interesting but that didn't fit into the last days. After that you will do a so-called "Retrospective", which is a tool to review the last week, see what worked and adjust what didn't go so well. ## Part 1: Publish the other most interesting things in your life Besides events, books, people, tools etc. there are still other things in your life that you're excited about. Maybe a hobby you've picked up. Or an idea that you came across recently. Or a conversation. Or piece of furniture. Or art. Or a poem. Or anything, really. Today we want to make sure we're capturing that as well. Because anything that's part of your [[Unstoppable freight train of FUCK-YEAHness]] should be part of your Obsidian vault! _"What are you excited about or interested in?"_ 1. Make a list of the things in your life that you're geniunely excited about 2. Once you've captured 5 of them, add 5 more 3. Turn each thing in your list into a link that points its own note 4. Sort the list by how important the things are to you. The most important should be on top of the list. 6. PUBLISH the list of most interesting things 7. Cross off this exercise at [[⭐️ 21-Day Obsidian Publish Challenge]] 8. Reward yourself with a piece of chocolate, a glass of orange juice or anything else highly-satisfying of your choice You can find an example of mine at [[My Most Interesting Things At the Moment]] ## Part 2: Retrospective A Retrospective is a quick look back over the last week to... - Capture and celebrate what went well - Capture and question what's unclear - Capture and discuss what didn't go so well This will result in feeling good about what you did and improving what didn't work by 5%. When you do this regularly, after a few weeks, you will have significantly made your life easier. It's a powerful tool that I use often. It's simple. Quick. And you always wind up with a better plan for the future. Let's do your Retrospective looking at the [[⭐️ 21-Day Obsidian Publish Challenge]] in the Last 7 Days. 1. Create a new note titled something like "Publish Challenge Retrospective - Week 1" 2. Create three sections: "What went well", "What I'm unsure about", "What didn't go well" 3. Take 10 minutes and start adding ideas to each section. You can jump from section to section however you want. 4. When you're done, take another 5 minutes to go through each list and briefly "think out loud" what it means to you. 5. When you're going through the "What didn't go so well"s, come up with a small solution that you can implement right away to solve the problem. Congratulations! You've just completed your first Retrospective. You can find an example of mine at [[Publish Challenge Retrospective - Week 1]]
