Nobody knows how the algorithm works. Not even the algorithm creators know how the algorithm works. The problem with famous creators giving advice on how to succeed is the tips might be outdated. They created things in 2018 and are trying to give tips for 2024. The climate is so different. Yes, they can give timeless principles, but even those aren’t a guarantee to fame. It takes so much luck. It’s wrong to say creators who succeeded, succeeded because of what they did rather than who they are or luck. It’s the swimmers paradigm. Swimming won’t necessarily give you a swimmers body. It could be that people with a swimmers body naturally do good at swimming. Focusing just on analytics destroys your will to create and creativity. Who cares how well you do if you just become another mindless content creator creating soulless content. Do it for the love of the journey in itself. My one issue with this video was he didn’t seem to take some of the great YouTube courses that I know exist.
