The two that I chose I believe are more associated with top down thinking than bottom up thinking. ## Three ARC Workflows Bottom up, middle out, top down. The bottom up and middle out thinking styles innovate but they don't necessarily communicate. ### Top-Down - Is this you? - Are you someone who wants to create content consistently? - Practical Workflow Implementations - Highlights To Insights - Follow a system to take outside thoughts and turn them into your own - Outline An Output - Pin down a structure and build your research over time - Move to the Medium - Pros & Cons - Good for - Not wasting time - Bad for - People wanting to compound their ideas - Solution. Practice carving out time, relating notes, and carving out ideas. Primal Shout - "I consistently communicate, *but do I ever innovate?*" Nick inside of his output notes indicates all inside of one note what type of content a note has been turned into. He differentiates them with tags. ## AI Workflows Nick Uses Nick Milo uses ChatGPT for thought unpacking and thought enriching. ### Thought Unpacking In thought unpacking he gives ChatGPT an article and it unpacks the importance definitions and summarizes the document. This is helpful for giving a cognitive scaffolding for difficult texts. ### Thought Enriching In thought enriching he takes an essay and asks ChatGPT to come up with awesome metaphors, stories, parables, epitaph, similes, and more. This helps you enrich your ideas over time. ### Thought Meeting In thought meeting Nick exposes his essay to a variety of people from history that comment on his ideas. - [ ] Brainstorm ideas with john about how these AI prompts could be used.
