Interestingly he didn't have much theoretical knowledge about physics, electricity, or chemistry. Instead, he experimented his way to his inventions. He would do thousands of experiments back to back often late into the night. Some of his best working hours were between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. **He was addicted to inventing.** As a result he was never rich. He spent SO MUCH TIME inventing he struggled to make money from his inventions. He couldn’t market them well. And he would constantly spend money from his great inventions onto his less profitable ones.
