# Causality isn't 100%
Many people have a tendency to assume when something causes something else it happens 100% of the time. But causality isn't 100%.
A can be conditionally causal of B by increasing the likelihood of something happening. In this way the level of causality can be analyzed using Bayesian Statistics. In addition things can have interactions. That means the level of one changes the level of the other. For example, genetics doesn’t matter very much to depression when no stressful events are happening, but it matters a lot more once a stressful event has happened.
