He first encountered the party during a Goblin attack that disrupted Alfield's otherwise quiet routine. Recognizing the group’s potential, he introduced them to [[Kosh Clearbarker]], the town’s mayor, and asked for their assistance in investigating a growing unease among the townsfolk, hinting that something unnatural was at play. Bryce played a key role in directing the party toward the [[Temple of Pelor]] and the emerging cult activity.
