The party encountered two Otyughs during their initial descent into the sewer system with [[Edmund Sartarius|Edmond]]. These foul creatures lurk in waste and refuse, using their tentacles to grapple prey and their powerful bite to finish them off. The fight against the Otyughs served as the party's introduction to the dangers lurking beneath [[Zadash]], foreshadowing the far greater threats awaiting them in the [[Blackflow Tangles]].
